Leadership Keynote Speaking

Transformational keynotes that reshape how leaders understand authority, influence, and impact, delivering insights your audience will still be referencing years from now.

 The Speaker Your Event Deserves

Something Happens in the Room When Rhoda Speaks.

Audiences come in a little guarded, half-present, distracted by everything else on their minds. They’ve sat through talks before. They know how to listen politely and move on.

Then something shifts. It is not a technique, a framework, or a high-energy performance but the presence of someone speaking from lived experience,  willing to name what the audience is holding back, sharing failures without shame. The tension in the room quietly releases.

People lean in. Heads nod. Something that was tightly held loosens. The conversation that nobody was going to have in that room underneath the professional presentations begins to happen.

Your audience does not need another talk about resilience or authenticity. They need a speaker who makes the room safe enough for something real to occur.

That is what Rhoda brings. A shift in the room that the people in it will still be referencing months later  because it happened inside them.

WHAT RHODA SPEAKS ABOUT

The Psychology Beneath Leadership — Made Accessible, Immediate, and Real

Rhoda works at the intersection of psychological depth and leadership reality, the invisible dynamics that shape how leaders show up, make decisions, wield influence, and either inhabit or perform their authority.

By the end of a Rhoda keynote, the audience has not just heard new ideas, they have had a moment of recognition about themselves that changes how they see their leadership. That recognition is what makes the work stick.

Themes Rhoda Speaks On

  • The Shadow in the Boardroom, the unconscious patterns running leadership decisions that no amount of strategy can reach, and what it looks like to bring them into the light.
  • Authority Without Performance, why so many high-achieving leaders feel they are acting the part rather than inhabiting it, and what actually shifts that.
  • The Intelligence You Were Told to Manage, how the qualities leaders have spent careers suppressing are frequently the source of their greatest professional impact.
  • From Competence to Presence, the gap between being recognised for what you know and being felt for who you are, and how to close it.

Every keynote is developed in collaboration with the event organiser. Rhoda works with you to understand your audience, your event’s specific purpose, and the particular shift you want to create, then shapes the content around that.

WHAT EVENT ORGANISERS EXPERIENCE

What You Will See Happen in the Room

The audience relaxes in a way they did not expect and people who came in guarded leave open. The questions from the floor go deeper than the ones you usually get because Rhoda has made it safe to ask them.

The conversations that happen after are about something more specific than “that was a great talk.” They are about the pattern they recognised in themselves and the  permission they felt to be something other than entirely composed.

And for you as the organiser, the relief of knowing the room was genuinely moved and the  investment in a speaker produced something your audience will carry forward.

The speakers your audience remembers are the ones who said the thing nobody else was willing to say and said it in a way that made the room feel less alone.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Events That Are Ready for Something Different

Rhoda works with organisers who care about creating a stage where something real can happen. They know their audience deserves more than another polished presentation and are ready for transformation, not just inspiration.

Leadership conferences and corporate events where high-performing professionals need to be met at depth. Women’s leadership forums seeking psychological precision. Industry associations wanting a keynote that challenges conventional narratives about authority and influence. Executive retreats where the real conversation needs to begin.

Every engagement is co-created. Rhoda invests time to understand your audience before stepping on stage so that when she does, it lands exactly where it needs to.

ABOUT RHODA

Rhoda brings to every stage what most speakers cannot: the combination of having actually held senior leadership at scale and having done the deep psychological work on herself that she now facilitates for others.

With over 15 years of executive leadership across finance, media, and international development, including 14 years as President of Her Story Matters where she reached over 15 million people through partnerships with the UN and the UK government, she speaks from genuine experience of the rooms, the power dynamics, and the internal terrain her audiences are navigating.

She is also trained in Advanced Shadow Work, Masters NLP, Polyvagal Therapy, and Somatic Coaching, which means the psychological precision she brings to her individual client work is present on stage too. She reads rooms with the same accuracy she reads people.

Having grown up in Nairobi, Kenya, and led across continents, she understands cross-cultural leadership dynamics with a depth that is rare in the speaking world. She knows how to get a room moving and how to bring it back when it needs to go somewhere deeper.

Let’s Talk About Your Event

If what you’ve read here resonates and you’re ready to approach your event differently, let’s speak. This conversation is a focused exploration of your audience, your event, and the specific transformation you want to create.

Every engagement begins with this private discovery conversation. If there’s alignment, Rhoda will work with you to design something that lands precisely where it needs to.

Your audience came ready to sit through another talk. Give them something they will still be thinking about at the end of the year.
