There is a version of success that looks exactly right from the outside and costs everything on the inside. I know this version intimately. I lived it for years.
I held senior leadership positions across finance, media, ministry, and international development, sat on global councils, and partnered with the UN and the UK government. I built Her Story Matters from the ground up, reaching over 15 million people worldwide. Along the way, I was headhunted repeatedly, celebrated for my work, and recognised with awards in rooms full of people who admired what I had built.
At one of those ceremonies, standing at the podium with an award in my hand, the only thought I had was that I just wanted to be in bed asleep. I was burnt out and the rooms I had worked so hard to be invited into no longer held meaning for me. I had done everything right, everything the world calls accomplishment, and still it was not enough.
Behind the accolades there were dynamics I could not name. The unspoken pressures, the subtle obstacles, the constant balancing of authority and expectation. I kept going, as I always had. That was the pattern.
Then my sister became ill, and I stepped away from everything to care for her. Watching her give everything despite the odds broke something in me and taught me, without words, what it truly means to live the life you want. When she passed, I carried her with me into the question I had been avoiding my entire career: what do I actually want?
The answer came slowly, then all at once. I went deep into the work, shadow integration, somatic practice, and the psychological architecture beneath leadership and identity. I studied and lived these disciplines, applying them to the structures I had carried long before any boardroom.
That process of going to the foundation of what was running underneath my own leadership became the foundation of a practice I now bring to others.

Background And Training
My executive career spans over 15 years across corporate finance, media production, international development, and strategic consultancy. As Founder and President of Her Story Matters, I led an international organisation that reached over 15 million people across four continents through partnerships with the UN, the UK Government, the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office, and global financial institutions.
I have held roles as CEO, VP of Innovations, and President, navigating boardrooms, institutional politics, and high-stakes decisions across sectors and continents. Born in Nairobi, Kenya, and based in London, I bring a depth of cross-cultural leadership understanding to every engagement.
My advanced training includes Shadow Work, Masters NLP, Polyvagal Therapy, Somatic Coaching, and Breathwork. The combination of lived executive experience and psychological expertise is what allows this work to reach the level most conventional development does not.
